ABOUT

Hi, my name is Poppy Shears and I love the ocean. I spend most of my spare time in the ocean, at the ocean, or on the ocean. I have recently got into photography which is why I made this website.  By making a website I am able to share my knowledge and photography with you. I have lived my whole life by the ocean and both my parents are marine biologists and working at Goat Island, which is a very old marine reserve with a laboratory. My family has a boat which we use frequently through out the summer even making it up to the Poor Knights Islands and the Bay of Islands every now and then.  I am really into sport too, playing on two hockey team during the winter season and surfing and skateboarding as well. My family and I have traveled quite a bit, exploring new marine ecosystems like the Chilean coastline, the Galapagos, the Caribbean, and multiple islands in the Pacific.  I hope this website answered your question or gave you the knowledge you were looking for.
